QUALITY IMPROVEMENT CELL [QIC]

The Quality Improvement Cell of the college is functioning in coordination with the Department in charges, Student Coordinators / Mentors, and all teaching faculty. The QIC activities cover Professional Personality Development, Soft Skill Development, Attitude and Behavioural Development, Academic Monitoring Protocols,Talent Identification of students included in different courses, Active Learning Strategies. The main aim of QIC activities is the overall campus development and discipline, also the students’ curricular & extracurricular activities.

PLACEMENT CELL

MDCP has an active and dedicated placement cell headed by experienced and qualified faculty members, continuously working hard to get the placement for B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy in reputed national and multinational organizations.

ONLINE GRIEVANCE

Grievance Redressal System is a mechanism commonly used to receive and act on complaints or grievances reported by stakeholders of private or public institutions, enabling prompt actions on any issue raised by them and to ensure transparency in institutions, with the supreme objective of preventing unfair practices and to provide a mechanism to students, parents, teachers and other non-teaching staff for the redressal of their complaints.

Objective:
The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.. A Grievance Cell has been constituted for the academic year 2024-25 for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:

• Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.
• Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized. An Online Grievance Redressal Mechanism has been instituted in the college website for the reporting of the problems of Students of the College.

Functions:
The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of grievances online in the portal from the students. The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy. The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.

Procedure for lodging complaint:
The students may feel free to put up a grievance online in the format available in the website of the college. The procedure for lodging the complaints is put up in the college notice board. The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents. The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell.

GENDER DISCRIMINATION CELL

Mar Dioscorus College of Pharmacy has constituted the Anti-Discrimination Cell in compliance to the UGC regulations (Promotion of Equity in Higher Educational Institutions), with the following members for the Academic Year 2019-2020.
